Samsung following Apple’s strategy with upcoming Galaxy S9

Previously, it was leaked that Samsung would likely follow in Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus footsteps in releasing an S9+ with dual cameras and more RAM. Now, BGR reports that Samsung may follow Apple’s old S strategy in releasing a new device with almost the same exterior as last year’s with some slight performance upgrades. It seems nearly all exterior improvements, save the improved positioning of the fingerprint sensor, have been shelved. The S9 will look nearly identical to the S8, not that that is a bad thing. The S8 is arguably still the best looking smartphone with its nearly non-existent side bezels and small top and bottom bezels. What it will likely get is a new SoC, larger battery, and even faster charging.
